Market Vice President, Southern Arizona
Cox Communications


In 2008, Lisa Lovallo was named the Market Vice President, Southern Arizona for Cox Communications.  Lovallo is responsible for all the Southern Arizona business, public affairs, and community relations functions in Pima and Cochise Counties.  In addition to her work responsibilities, Lovallo serves on 10 community boards including Sun Corridor Inc., the Southern Arizona Leadership Council, the DM50, the Downtown Tucson Partnership, and the UA Cancer Center. She also serves as a trustee of San Miguel High School and is on the Advisory Board of the Museum of Contemporary Art.
Lovallo has been recognized by the community with many awards including “Woman of the Year” for 2010 by the Tucson Metro Chamber of Commerce, “A Woman of Influence” by Inside Tucson Business, and a “Woman on the Move” by the YWCA. She was also given the “Spirit of Philanthropy” Award by the Association of Fundraising Professionals for her outstanding contributions to the Southern Arizona community.
A native of Tucson, Lovallo graduated from the UA with a B.A. in English, served as Student Body Vice President, and played on the Arizona’s Women’s basketball team.  She worked for P & G for several years before starting her own business, North American Enterprises, an import/export business specializing in food products. After 14 years of running the business she was instrumental in the sale of its key brands to an Italian manufacturer in Northern Italy.
In addition to her many philanthropic and business endeavors, Lovallo has taught at the UA Eller College of Management and was Director of Student Advancement and Development in the UA’s Student Affairs Division.
